This summer is the inaugural concert season for The Storytellers Hideaway Farm.
We’re having a special kick off concert at the Farm on May 6, at 3pm. This is a not-to-be-missed concert, featuring Gary West.
With nearly 30 years of experience working beside many of the greatest legends of country music, including Little Jimmy Dickens, Tommy Cash, Del Reeves and other Grand Ole Opry stars, Gary has developed a remarkable show called “For the Love of Cash,” which is a tribute to Johnny Cash, and the legends of country music. This show tours all over the country and plays to thousands of fans each year.
Gary is not a Johnny Cash impersonator. There is only one Johnny Cash; but he is an amazing impressionist, recording artist, producer, and the type of entertainer that you just don’t find anymore.
Check out his website at garywestmusic.com.
Take advantage of this GREAT OPPORTUNITY: Explore the Hideaway Farm, which Johnny Cash owned for 33 years, and called the “center of my universe.” We will open the doors at 1pm, and include, in the concert ticket price, entrance to the Farmhouse and Cinnamon Hill Gallery. This is your chance to hear stories of his time spent here, as well as see the land that meant so much to him.
As a special promotion, you can have the full Museum and Hideaway Farm experience; come to the Museum between 10:00 and 1:00, before heading over to your tour of the Farm and the concert. We suggest giving yourselves 1-1.5hours at the Museum, and at least 1 hour for the Farmhouse and the Cinnamon Hill Gallery.
Tickets are available at the door, at the Storytellers Museum, and online through eventbrite.
